Bob Perry Everett, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Bob was born to Mark Eugene Everett, Sr. and Bessie Stuckey Everett on February 26, 1943 in Alabama. He served in the United States Navy and worked in the trucking industry for over 50 years – his longest employer being Landstar Trucking. Bob was a devout Christian and assisted with building two churches in the Northwest. He was a church deacon and a vacation bible schoolteacher. He was rough around the edges, but he loved his family and community dearly. Bob also dabbled in poetry. He enjoyed model trucks, elephants, movies, and audio reading, especially when he was driving.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Claire Therien Everett; second wife, Victoria Everett; and his sister, Carolyn Cannon.
He is survived by his children, Deborah Dickerson (Robert), Michael Everett, Lori Hilman (David), Nancy Everett, and William “Joey” Everett (Amanda); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, beginning at 10 a.m. at West Mobile Baptist Church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
