With deepest sorrow, we announce Brandon Ivan Sikovic, born December 9, 1982, beloved son, brother and uncle, passed away on June 1, 2020. Brandon will be missed every day by his mother, Katherine (Kitty) Sikovic, his sister, Tanya Bischoff, his nephews Ethan Bischoff and Nicholas Bischoff and his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
We seek comfort in knowing Brandon is now with his father Ratko Sikovic, paternal grandmother, Leila Sikovic, maternal grandmother, Katherine Kettering and maternal grandfather, Martin E. Kettering.
Brandon was born in Clearwater, FL and grew up in Daphne, AL., he attended Daphne High School and was a member of the golf team and scholars bowl. Brandon was a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City. His true passion was cooking. He was privileged in his career to assist renowned chef Jacques Pepin with catered banquet events and cooking demonstrations. He was a creative and talented chef, consulting with restaurant owners creating recipes and developing menus.
Anyone who knew Brandon would say he was incredibly intelligent, kind, compassionate, loving, possessed a great sense of humor and loved animals. He left us too soon and we hope in our hearts that he is at peace.
A celebration of life ceremony will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brandon’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Mobile SPCA.
