Over the last several years I have gotten to know what a great father, friend, lawyer, man you are by the things I watched you do. Hours before a hurricane I watched you load up 6 generators and ice and haul it to friends and family members all over town. You finally made it back home and didn’t even have a generator left on the truck for yourself. After my truck was wrecked you looked at me and said, “I am going to get you something to drive” and you rode your motorcycle most of the winter so Sean and I would have what we needed. This is only two examples of the heart of gold and self sacrificing love that you have for your friends and family. I will always laugh when I remember your first shrimping trip off shore and I will always be thankful for the wonderful friend that God brought in our lives even if it was only for a little while. When the days get lonely and tough, I will just remind myself how blessed I am to have someone so extraordinary to miss. Such a devastating loss. A piece of my heart left with you. Rest In Peace until we hug again.

Bratton you were 14 when Rog and I married. You stayed with us almost every weekend. I remember when you were going to the Arnold school and how you would walk down to our townhouse to watch tv and raid the fridge. The Mexico trip when Rog, you and I sat around the pool laughing all night. The stays at the beach house with Nell. These are just a few memories that I have with you, there are so many more. I always called you my lil brother, for you were. I will miss our talks and your advice. Please give Rog a huge hug and kiss for me let him know how much I miss him. You will be missed everyday and a lil piece of my heart goes with you. So go in peace with God my dear lil brother.
Always much love, xoxo C
