OBITUARY

Brion Hilton Baker

November 10, 1957May 10, 2021

Brion Hilton Baker, caring husband, and loving father, passed away on Monday, May 10th, 2021 at the age of 63. Brion was born in Mobile, Alabama on November 10th, 1957 and raised in Cantonment, Florida along with his two brothers and loving sister. After graduating from Tate High School in 1975, Brion went on to marry Petesy Baker and raise two wonderful sons, Mitchell and Blake Baker.

Brion had a natural gift for woodworking, which he put to use during his career as a master carpenter, creating fantastic works of art for clients and friends. He also had a love of motorsports and fishing; two very important areas of his life which he shared with his two sons and many friends. However, the most important thing to Brion during his life was the time he spent with his friends and family. Whether it was relaxing at a family fish fry, working in the summers with his two sons, or attending motorsport races with his siblings and friends, if he was with his family, you could catch a glimpse of his sly grin. Brion was a strong man with an unmistakable presence, a tender heart, a kind smile, and a warm laugh.

Brion was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Charlotte Joellen Owens-Gross, and father, George F. Baker. He is survived by his wife, Petesy, his two sons, Mitchell (Katherine Cooper) and Blake, his grandson, Brion Hilton, his two brothers, Blake and Guy, his sister, Sabet (Kenny White), his cousin, Paul, and many more beloved family members.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday May 15th, 2021 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel & Memorial Park at 3351 Scenic Highway 90E Pensacola, Florida 32503 at one o’clock in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to the MSA Coalition at www.MultipleSystemAtrophy.org

He will always be remembered, so sorry for the Loss. He will be missed. I will remember his laughter and how he like to cut up and make people laugh. I also remember his beautiful wood work. Always thought of yall as family when we were neighbors and our kids grew up together. Blessings to all!
