Burl Edward Livingston

Mr. Burl Edward Livingston, age 88 and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret C. Livingston, parents, Samuel Burleson and Florence Smith Livingston and sister, Betty Hinkle. Mr. Livingston retired after 30 years of service as a sales manager with the Bullard family at Joe Bullard Automotive. He was an avid golfer and horticulturist. He enjoyed his time taking care of his flower gardens. Mr. Livingston was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. His family will remember him lovingly as a wonderful father and grandfather. Mr. Livingston is survived by his children, Lynn Roberts (Johnny) of Fairhope, AL, Debbie Thomas of Dothan, AL, Burl Livingston, Jr. (Sue) and Grant A. Livingston (Amy) of Mobile, AL. He is also survived by his sisters, Burlene Schieffelin, Jackie Scott (Ronnie), eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Pine Crest Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.
