Burton Michael Merchant

Burton Michael Merchant – a native of Mobile, AL, born May 14, 1948, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010, in a local hospital at the age of 62. Mr. Merchant was a dedicated ALABAMA fan and a member of the Monday Morning Men’s Prayer Group at Dauphin Way Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Brooksie Merchant. He is survived by his brother, Brooks Patrick Merchant (Kim), and three nieces, Brooke Merchant Bailey, Blake Merchant Stone, and Britanie Merchant. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour.
