

He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Cosci was a past chief of the East Islip Fire Department in New York. He was also head of the fire department band for many years. He was a member of the American Legion and Our Savior Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Cosci of Mobile, AL; two sons, Ceasar (Lois) Cosci of Mobile, AL and Joseph (Marcia) Cosci of Ronkonkoma, NY; five grandchildren, Sarah (Matthew) Baker of Atlanta, GA, Matthew (Jenny) Cosci of Mobile, AL, Rachel (Paul) Di Martino of Roanoke, VA, Thomasine (Bruce) Brumbaugh of York, PA, and Captain Joseph Cosci of Rochester, NY; six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Faye Cosentino of New Jersey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011 from 10 A.M. until the 11 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Savior Catholic Church. Interment will be in New York.
