C. R. White

C.R. White- an 89 year-old native of Red Bay, AL and longtime resident of Theodore passed away at his home on Sunday, July 28, 2013. Mr. White retired from GM&O/ICG Railroad after 40 years of service and owned/operated Vickie’s Lawn Service up until two years ago. He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Victoria “Vickie” P. White; children, Carl Russell White (Carrie), Gloria Joyce White, and Glenda Joanne Schlicher (John); step-children, Francine Nagle, Cynthia Dupuis, James T. West, Jr., and Carla Millette (Bob); sister, Bernice White Babb; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from Woodridge Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at 12 noon. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Woodridge Baptist Church Building Fund, 2700 Schillinger Rd. S., Mobile, AL 36695.
