Carl Mallory Neese

Carl was preceded in death by his five brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Jane “EE” Neese; his brother-in-law Doug Previto and wife Kay Previto; their children Robin, Lisa, Tina, Gina, and Dominic; as well as many cherished great-nieces and nephews.

Carl dedicated 40 years of service to the State Docks before retiring. In his free time, he enjoyed car racing and cheering on the Saints. He was happiest working in his shop, where he spent countless hours building birdhouses and tending to the beautiful yard he and his wife lovingly shared. He completed his final birdhouse just days before his passing.

When recently asked about his favorite way to spend time, Carl simply said, “Hanging out with my brothers Tony and Doug,” often followed by laughter and stories that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 23, at Pine Crest Funeral Home, located at 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama 36605. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place immediately afterward at Pine Crest Cemetery.

A small gathering with sandwiches and refreshments will be held following the services at Janie “EE’s” home.

Carl will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.
