

Carrie Bolling Hurst – a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Saturday, February 15, 2014, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Hurst; parents, Dewey and Helen Bolling; and siblings, George Dewey Bolling, John R. Bolling, Vance Glen Bolling and Annie Evelyn Brown. She is survived by two daughters, Angelique (David) Dixon and Velda (George) Watson; brothers, Charles Bolling and Reverend Joseph M. Bolling; sister, Theresa Kerr; sister and best friend, Charlotte Bolling; five grandchildren, Nick and Michael Watson, Sharon Bougere, Kimberly and Charles Dixon; great-grandchildren and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at 11 a.m. from St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. Serving as Celebrant of the Mass will be Reverend Monsignor G. Warren Wall. Deacon of the Mass will be Deacon Joseph V. Connick. Active pallbearers are Bart Bolling, Michael Watson, Anthony Saradet, Ed Harwell, Earl “Buddha” Collier and Ronnie Puckett. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Slade, John Dewey Bolling, Charles Dixon and Nick Watson. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Matthew’s Catholic Church Maintenance Fund.
