Mrs. Catherine W. Diamond, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died on Monday, September 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Diamond, Jr. and son, John W. Diamond. She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl D. Fields; two sons, Ross (Betty) Diamond, III and Ben Diamond. One sister, Elizabeth Wahl Hodges; six grandchildren, Kathryn (Rich) Camp, Rachael (Barrett) McCall, Mimi Diamond, Clara (Lee) Olander, Lucy (Chris) Honeycutt and Matthew (Carrie) Diamond, nine great grandchildren and other relatives. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated from Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 11 AM. Visitation will start at 10 AM. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Corpus Christi Building Fund or your favorite charity. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
