Cecile Foster Phillips Broos – born December 4, 1914, passed away July 25, 2011. Mrs. Broos was preceded in death by husbands: Thomas Phillips and Edward Broos; parents, Randolph and Mary Foster; five brothers, and two sisters. Mrs. Broos is survived by her son, Larkin Phillips; granddaughters: Angelina Phillips and Terri Lynn Phillips Schaffer (Christopher); great-granddaughter, Jamie Reagan Schaffer; sister, Ann Clausen; brothers: Milton Foster and Leon Foster; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2011, in Catholic Cemetery, 1700 Martin Luther King Avenue.
