Chad Robert Reynolds, of Mobile, AL, died on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the age of 37. Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grover and Lolete Reynolds and Georgene Beasley. Survivors include his son, Carter, and Carter’s mother, Rachael Weeks; parents, Bill and Debra Reynolds; sisters, April (Tim) Speaks, of Auburn, and Jennifer (Eric) Plaisance, of Birmingham; grandfather, Mel H. Beasley, of Mobile; and close friend, Brooke Sanchez. Chad has five nephews and one niece: Jackson Speaks, Harrison Speaks, Griffin Speaks, Sullivan Speaks, William Plaisance, and Lauren Plaisance.
A 1998 graduate of Baker High School, Chad lettered in varsity football and soccer. He attended the University of South Alabama and was currently employed by Prihoda. Chad attended Cottage Hill Baptist Church during his youth and is currently a member of People of Mars Hill Church. Chad will be remembered for his passion for The University of Alabama sports, his outgoing personality, and the tremendous love he held for Carter.
Visitation will be at Dauphin Way Baptist Church on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 10am until 12 noon. A Celebration of Life service will begin at noon, followed by the graveside service at Pine Crest Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Pat Greenwood, Charles Mathison, Eric Plaisance, William Plaisance, Jackson Speaks, Harrison Speaks, Griffin Speaks, Sullivan Speaks, and Tim Speaks.
