Chanler Allen Smith

Chanler Allen Smith, age 12 of Hurley, MS, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020. Chanler was born on March 13, 2008 in Pascagoula, MS to Raymond Scott and Melita Goff Smith. Chanler was the true definition of a boy. He never slowed down and kept everyone entertained. He loved sports, hunting, fishing, rodeoing and racing.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Scotty and Melita Smith, and brother Clay. He is also survived by his grandparents; Raymond and Lucy Smith, Charles and Millie Goff, J. P. and Bobbie Carol Grandquest, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and Anna Vice, who has been very special to Chanler for the past two years.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Magnolia Springs Assembly of God. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Timothy Mains will officiate with Rev. Rob Reiser and Nick DeAngelo assisting. Interment will follow at Coleman Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Blake Baria, A.J. Smith, Harley Vice, Justis Daffin, Stan Smith, Steven Smith, Kolby McClure. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Contestabile, Bryce Contestabile, Kole Kelley, Tyler Greer, Drew Smith and Dylan Smith.
