Terry is survived by his loving wife, Meridy Jones; his two daughters, Micha Summers (Glenn) and Laura Jones; his grandchildren, Jacob Jones (Gracie), Aleah and Brock Summers; Taylor Summers and her children Whitley and Banks Capps; his sister, Marilyn Wood; his brother, Jim “JJ” Jones (Sue); his sisters-in-law, Donadee Jones (the late Wayne Jones) and Sara Jones (the late David Jones) and their families; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Halstedt (Juliana), Elise Williams (Jackson), Betsy and Swift Lyle, and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Blake and Brooks Halstedt and Lyla and Sadie Williams.
A graduate of the University of South Alabama, Terry enjoyed playing catcher for the university’s baseball team. He went on to pursue his love of accounting, building his CPA practice and serving his clients with dedication and integrity for more than 40 years.
Terry was a humble, thoughtful, fair, and kind man whose life was defined by quiet strength and unwavering character. Above all, he was a loving husband, a devoted father, an intentional and loving grandfather and uncle, and a faithful servant. He believed in doing what was right, treating others with kindness, and living a life of honesty and grace.
Terry loved the outdoors and was an avid tennis player. Those who knew him will remember his quiet humility, his gentle spirit, and the grace with which he lived his life. He led not through grand gestures or words, but through the steady example of a life well lived. His character, faithfulness, and love for his family and others leave a lasting legacy that cannot be measured.
Terry will be missed beyond words, but his life will continue to be remembered and cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Thursday, October 22 at Creekwood Church of Christ, followed by the service at 12:00. A private family burial will be held.
Pallbearers will be: Jacob Tyler Jones, Christopher Brock Summers, John Swift Lyle, III., Christopher Lyle Halstedt, Jackson Connor Williams and Shafter Glenn Summers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Creekwood Church of Christ or UMS-Wright Preparatory School.
