Charles Edward Racine, Sr. - a native of Bay Minette, AL, born August 16, 1928, and a longtime resident of Mobile, passed away August 21, 2012. He retired from Ideal Cement after many years of service and was a Mason and a Shriner. Mr. Racine was preceded in death by two sons, Danny Day Racine and Russell Keith Racine. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Imogene Day Racine; two sons, Charles Edward Racine, Jr. and Terry Joe Racine (Jackie); sister, Katherine Killcrease (Jesse); numerous grandchildren, great-grand-children, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in Mobile Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until the service hour.
