

Charles Edward Winstanley, Jr., born February 2, 1934, in Mobile, AL. He was the son of Charles Edward Winstanley, Sr. and Evelyn Clayton Winstanley. Charlie completed his earthly journey and claimed his place in Heaven on Sunday, December 4, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sharon Sprinkle Winstanley; his children, Ann Winstanley, Mark (Ramona) Winstanley, and Daniel Winstanley, Barry (Ashley) Winstanley and Randall Emmett Winstanley; a sister, Gloria Dickens; nine grandchildren, Becky, Matthew, Joshua, Ashley, Kayla, Hunter, Dillon, Marissa, and Brandon; six great-grandchildren, Valerie, P.J., Kanyon, Garrett, Chyler, and Broker; one great-great-grandchild, Liam; a goddaughter, Kasey Kiernan; a daughter-in-law, Linda Harrison; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Charles “Chuck” Edward Winstanley, III; a granddaughter, Cyndell Winstanley; and a sister, Rose Winstanley Rehwinkle. Charlie was an avid fisherman his entire life and kept the most beautiful yard. He was owner and partners with his father in C.E Winstanley Painting Co. He also owned a Pacemaker Boat named “The Memaw” that was quite popular around the Island. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
