

Lottie now reunites with those gone before which include her mother and father, Anna Laura and Ruben Rudder; her two sisters, Dorothy Albretsen and Mary Chestnolvick; her brother, Ruben F. Rudder, Jr.; her husband, RV Deitz; and two sons, Richard V. Deitz and Christopher Deitz.
On March 20, 2011, Lottie was surrounded by her five remaining children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as she was called to Heaven's Gate.
She leaves to honor and cherish her memory her loving family; one son, Stephen R. (Kim) Deitz; four daughters, Catherine Merriam, Cherri Deitz Stanford, Deborah (Mark) Lyons, and Cindy (Perry) Printz; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Deitz; fourteen grandchildren, Mark and David Merriam, Judson Kennedy, Anna Stanford, Amanda (Paul) Tefft, Sara and Daniel Deitz, Diana (John) Mason, Richard and Bobby Deitz, Christen (Anthony) Midgette, Jeffrey Lyons, Emily and Matthew Printz; thirteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Lottie's life of dedication to the Catholic Church is marked by the faith she eagerly bestowed on her husband and seven children. She was an active member of St. Dominic Parish for 46 years and a Eucharistic Minister to the sick. She also offered several years of volunteering at Little Sisters of the Poor and Providence Hospital. She loved her friends and the fun of many years of the Cottage Hill Garden Club and Bunko Clubs.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Dominic Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. On Tuesday, March 22, 2011, Lottie will be honored by her family and friends between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. She will be laid to rest next to her youngest son, Chris, in the Mobile National Cemetery.
