Charlotte Anne Hester Simpkins

Charlotte Anne Hester Simpkins – a 73 year-old native of Aberdeen, MS, longtime resident of Mobile, and current resident of Vernon, AL passed away Monday, September 5, 2011. Mrs. Simpkins co-owned and operated Charlo Trucking with her late husband, Donald C. Simpkins, and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mrs. Simpkins is survived by a brother, Richard Hester (Alma) of Vernon, AL; sister, Lopez Platt of Biloxi, MS; nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour.
