Chauncey S. Patterson “Pat” or “Sparky”, died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family in Central City, LA at the age of 74.
Pat was born on September 29, 1942 in Mobile, AL. He was retired from Big Cajun Power & Electric as an Instrument Electrical Planner. He was a long time HAM Radio operator (W5CSP) and an active member of Baton Rouge Amateur Radio Club. He loved fishing, camping, building and maintaining his personal computers and HAM Radios.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Duane Patterson; mother, Maudie M. Reed; and father, Clyde Patterson.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Weaver Patterson; daughter, Tammy Patterson Dabadie; son-in-law, Carl Dabadie; granddaughter, Taylor M. Thompson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation for Mr. Patterson will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, AL, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
