Christopher A. Douglas

Christopher Douglas – loving father, son, and brother, a 35 year-old lifelong resident of Mobile, was called to his Heavenly Home on Monday, November 10, 2014. Christopher enjoyed cooking, loved fishing, and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He will always be remembered for his big heart, big smile, and wonderful sense of humor all of which he shared freely. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alden Eugene Douglas, Sr. and Charlie Verdo Cartee; uncle, James Mark Cartee and William Joe Haire; aunt, Ellen Louise Douglas; and cousin, Aaron "Blake" Cartee. He is survived by his children, Christopher Caleb Winstead and Krislyn Elise Douglas; parents, Sharon and Dewey Douglas; sister, April Douglas Miller (Brent); brother, Jared M. Douglas (Amy); grandmothers, Theresa Douglas and Edell Cartee; nephews, Noah and Kipper Miller; aunts and uncles, Catherine Douglas, Kevin Douglas (Robin), David Douglas (Ellen), Bonnie Haire, Randy Cartee, and Linda Snyder (Sid); as well as a host of cousins and friends. Christopher will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Friday, November 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 13, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
