Claude Anthony Betbeze Jr.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Ann Kidd Betbeze, his son, Claude Anthony Betbeze, Jr. and one grandson, Nicholas Claude Betbeze.

He is survived by three sons, Jim (Terry) Betbeze, Michael (Ruthie) Betbeze, and Benton (Melanie) Betbeze, one daughter, Beth (Lillian) Betbeze, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Claude was a decorated veteran of World War II, a distinguished member of the Knight of Columbus and former Boy Scout Leader and Explorer Leader of Troop 143. He and his wife Ann were charter members of both Corpus Christi and Saint Dominic's Churches.

A funeral service to celebrate Claude's life will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alabama Gulf Coast Chapter of Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 100 Chase Park South, Birmingham, AL 35244.
