Claude Curtis Bullock, Jr.

Claude Curtis Bullock, Jr., born on August 29, 1930, passed away on August 19, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn Virginia House Bullock, his parents, Claude Curtis Bullock, Sr. and Elinor Ervin Bullock, and his brother Robert Ervin Bullock. He is survived by his daughters Ashley Bullock Duffy, Cynthia Bullock Beslin (John Jude) and by his granddaughters Ashley Jordan Duffy, Caroline Elizabeth Beslin, and Mary Frances Beslin. A lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, he attended Sewanee Military Academy, was a graduate of University Military School, and attended The University of Alabama, and served two years in the United States Army. He was a life insurance agent for John Hancock Life Insurance Company; prior to that he and his father owned Gulf Coast Motor Company. He enjoyed dove hunting and golf. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Springhill Preservation Society, Country Club of Mobile, and several mystic organizations. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 22 at 10:30 am, Old Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Springhill Cemetery Association or Alzheimer’s Association.
