Claudia Turner Walker

Mrs. Claudia Walker, age 94, of Mobile, AL passed away on Jan. 8 2014 at the home of her son. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claudia and Ela Turner, her husband, Reese M. Walker, Sr., brother George W. Turner, and sister, Roberta Blalack. Mrs. Walker was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was previously employed with Mobile Memorial Gardens as a secretary of land allottment. Mr. and Mrs. Walker were previous owners of Gleem Paint Center in Mobile. She is survived by her children, Reese M. (Marlene)Walker, Jr., Vera(Sue) Shannon Heiter, and Geoffrey S.(Angela) Walker. She leaves to share her memory her grandchildren, Kit Waldon, Kimberly(Mike)Dailor, Stephanie(Clyde)James, Stephen(Stacey)Walker, Shawn(Devin)Conklan, Julie(Jason)Helton, Hunter Walker, and Dillon Walker, plus four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Stephen Walker, Hunter Walker, Dillon Walker, Clyde James, Kit Waldon, and Shawn Conklan. Honorary pallbearers: Tony Morgan, Dean Sansom, Chuck Squires, and Bryan Pugh. Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation Tuesday, jan. 14 from 5 to 7 PM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Three-Nothc Road, with funeral services on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 2 PM from the Chapel at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
