Clement Anthony Laurence

Clement Anthony Laurence, age 89, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday May 8, 2020. Clement was born August 11, 1930 in Mobile, Alabama and lived in Birmingham, Alabama from 1990 to 2017 when he moved back to Mobile. Clement was a graduate of McGill High School and Spring Hill College. He retired from The First National Bank of Mobile and Alabama Central Credit Union.

Clement was predeceased by his parents Henry H. Laurence, Jr. and Rosamond Steiner Laurence; brothers, Vincent, Charles, Mark, Stephens, and Bernard; sister-in-law, Rose Mary Laurence; nephews, Mark Laurence, Jr. and Henry Laurence; niece, Susan Laurence.

He is survived by his sisters, Viola and Mary Anne Laurence; sister-in-law, Barbara Laurence; nephews, Tony Laurence, John Laurence, Matthew Laurence, and Thomas Laurence (Sharon); nieces, Theresa Nurse (Lindsey), Karen Laurence, Ann Baker (Don), Catherine Weaver (William); and many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Clement will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St Dominic Catholic Church, 4156 Burma Rd, Mobile, Alabama 36693. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 1202 Virginia St, Mobile, Alabama 36604.
