Condy Willie Overstreet

Condy Willie Overstreet, born December 13, 1929, was a native of Clarke County, Alabama, and a long time resident of Satsuma, AL, passed away December 15, 2010 at a local hospital at the age of 81, after a 7 year battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Condy and Willie Overstreet, brothers; Elwood Overstreet, Armon Overstreet, James Overstreet and Woodie Overstreet; and sister; Mildred Young.

He is survived by his wife; Carolyn Overstreet, daughter; Reba Smith (W.H.) of Satsuma; son, Danny Overstreet (Pat) of Saraland, AL; grandchildren, Jennifer Welu (Ben) of Austin, TX, Tray Smith of Mobile, AL, Tyler Smith of Georgetown, AL, Michael Potter of Mobile, AL, Sean Potter of Mobile, AL and Nicole Leeking of Colorado; two sisters, Willine McDonald of Bessemer, AL and Voncile Echols of Jackson, AL; and three brothers, Ralph Overstreet (Mavis), Ronnie Overstreet (Deanna), and Gerald Overstreet, all of Alma, AL. Mr. Overstreet was the President of Overstreet Contracting Co., Inc. for 37 years.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with an 11:30 a.m. chapel service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
