Craig M. Smith

Craig Monroe Smith, Sr. a native and life resident of Mobile passed away Friday October 8, 2010 in a local hospital. Craig was a graduate of McGill Institute class of 1970, he attended the University of South Alabama and the Gemological Institute of America, he was a member of several Mystic Societies, he was active in numerous Civic Organizations, and he was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and was a volunteer sports coach. Craig was the Owner of Private Collection Inc. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Manship Smith. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Margie Frazier Smith, his children; Craig Monroe Smith, Jr., and Kelly Hyland Smith all of Mobile, his sisters; Catherine Moret Smith Wilkins of Columbus, GA and Lesley Smith Cunningham of Erie, CO., nieces, nephews and other relatives. A Praise Worship and Thanksgiving service will be on Monday evening from 6pm to 7pm at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. A gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday October 12, 2010 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church from 10:30am until 11am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Interment will be in Old Spring Hill Cemetery.
