Mr. McMinn was a graduate of Auburn University and a longtime employee of International Paper Company. He was an avid golfer, motorcycle enthusiast and had a passion for restoring motorcycles and automobiles. His greatest accomplishment in life was his family. He was a devoted husband, daddy, son and friend.
Mr. McMinn is survived by his wife, Janice Jordon McMinn; one daughter, Sarah Margaret McMinn; his parents, Curtis and Joyce McMinn; two sisters, Laura Ruth Mann and Beth Anne (Mitchell) Scott; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until 3 P.M. on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. A private memorial service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Whistler United Methodist Church Youth Fund, 3102 Whistler Street, Whistler, AL 36612.
