Dahlia Sheldon Booth

Dahlia Bishop Booth – beloved mother and grandmother, a longtime resident of Mobile, born August 4, 1914, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Mrs. Booth was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Elizabeth and Clifford Bishop; daughters, Margaret DeSouza and Florence Estelle Morgan; grandsons, Charles Childress and Tyrone Childress; and her husband, Clark W. Booth. She is survived by her children, James Louis Morgan Jr., Fannie Mae Wiggins (Leon), Mary Henderson, Daniel Morgan (Pat), Shirley Turberville (Clinton), Barbara Roberts (Henry), Charles Morgan, and William Morgan; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many cousins. Private graveside services were held in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
