
Dan Barrett Killough, Sr., 89, a native of Butler, Co, AL, passed away at home July 1, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Phyllis McNabney Killough, and three children; Ida Beth, Ellen, and Dan, Jr. Also, three granddaughters; Jennifer, Vanessa, and Caitlyn; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his parents and nine siblings.
In 1986, Mr. Killough retired from Teledyne in Mobile, AL. He loved his Lord Jesus Christ and had a passion for woodworking and music. His favorite hobbies included gardening, fishing, and beekeeping. He and Phyllis have been members of South Brookley United Methodist Church for many years.
Visitation will be Monday, July 8, at 9AM, followed at 10AM by his Memorial Service at South Brookley UMC. Private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to South Brookley UMC.
