Daniel Clyde James

Daniel loved to make people laugh regardless of the situation. Loved to have fun and devoted his life to his wife, sons and grandchildren. Daniel worked for H.O. Weaver & Sons Inc. in Mobile, Alabama as a truck driver for many years.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Emily Buchanan James. Three sons, Matthew James (Stephanie Grizzell) of Prattville, AL, Wayland James (Shelbie Miller) of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Ethan Kurtz (Brittney Kurtz) of Shirley, Massachusetts. Two grandchildren, Joshua James and Abbygail Grizzell, both of Prattville, AL. Four brothers, Robert James (Rosalyn James) of Semmes, AL, Richard James (Jonnie Smith) of Dickison, AL, Perry James (Richard Larner) of Grand Bay, AL, and Thomas James (Donya James) of Wilmer, AL. As well as several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.

Daniel is preceded in death by Robert Ellis James (Father) and Shirley Anne Marsh (Mother).

A visitation for Daniel will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A reception will follow the funeral service in Rue Dauphin Room of Radney Funeral Home.
