He is preceded in death by his parents Gordon A. Anderson, Sr. and Elouise L. Anderson, brothers Gordon Anderson, Jr., Gary Anderson, Dale Anderson and Terry Anderson.
David was born in Mobile, Alabama on September 5, 1946. He attended school at St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated from Murphy High School. He married Jennifer Nichols on December 5, 1980. He was employed as a printing pressman for various printing shops for over 30 years.
Mr. Anderson is survived by wife Jennifer Anderson, daughters Sheryl Glen (Robert), Charlene Thigpen (Thomas), step-daughter Lori Wilson, and step-son Jason Wilson (Morgan). He is also survived by his siblings Timothy Anderson(Mena), Elouise Fox, grandchildren; Tiffany Dean(Matt), Dean and Devin Thigpen, Madison Thigpen, Abigail Glen, Tony Glen, Caleb Wilson and Madelyn Wilson and great-grandchild River Dean.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Glenn A. Cochran and Andrew Morrow, Jr. of Cardiology Associates for their loving care.
Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be Devin Thigpen, Tony Glen, Caleb Wilson, Wayne Anderson, Robert Glen and Thomas Thigpen.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 12:45 p.m. Memorial Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Father Pat Arensburg officiating.
The family will receive friends and family in the Rue Dauphine Parlor at the funeral home for a reception following the service.
