David “Brian” Howell, 57, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on February 11, 2025. Born on November 8, 1967, Brian was a devoted father, a loving son, a cherished brother, and a proud “Papa” to his grandchildren.
Brian spent his life working as a truck driver, a career that reflected his hardworking nature and dedication. Outside of work, he found joy in the great outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and boating, especially when he could share those moments with his children. Some of his happiest times were spent on the water or in the woods, making memories with the people he loved most.
He is survived by his children, Brandon Howell (Brittany) and Ashton Hill (Kristopher); his precious grandchildren, Bryleigh and Laiden; his mother, June Howell; his sisters, Pam Odom (David) and Tracy Howell; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, David Howell, and his grandparents, Vaudy James and Mary Louise Howell and Mack Alpin and Annie Mildred Sullivan.
Brian’s kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A service to honor his life will be held at Pathway Church in Mobile on Monday, February 17, 2025. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
