Paul was born to Will and Alma Thomas on September 19, 1939 in Mississippi. He proudly served in the United States Army. Paul had a vast career as machinist, his last employment being with Mobile Pulley.
Paul had a helper’s heart, and was always reaching a hand out to the lost. He made it his life’s mission to witness and share his testimony with anyone he came across, and was a very Godly man. Paul loved to fish and garden. He was a loving husband and father, and will be greatly missed.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Clo Thomas; daughter, Paula Wahn (Matthew); sister, Helen Bowman; a brother, Ronald Thomas (Brenda); special nephew, Harold White (Dorothy); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Paul will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a graveside service immediately following in Pine Crest Cemetery.
