Diane Goebel Nelson – a native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL died Friday, February 17, 2012 in a local hospital. Diane was a 1962 graduate of Bishop Toolen High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Barbara C. McCoy. She is survived by one brother, David H. (Barbara) Goebel of Florissant, MO; three sisters, Becky Patrick, Mary “Sissy” McCoy, and Kay Case; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from Little Flower Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until 2 P.M. on Wednesday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery.
