Don Reeford Blankinchip passed away on Wednesday, November 16th 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mobile, AL on April 15, 1943. He grew up in the Mobile area and graduated from Citronelle High School. He enjoyed football and the outdoors.
He served in the Air Force and had a long career with Exxon Mobil. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners Organizations.
He is preceded in death by his parents Juel and Evelyn Blankinchip.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Rita; daughter, Laura Jednat (Todd); two grandsons: Conner Jednat (Carley), Hunter Jednat; and great-grandson, Jon-Conner Jednat.
He is also survived by four sisters, Angele Fleming (Charles), Renee McCardle (Joe), Yvonne Bailey, Robin Blankinchip; an aunt, Daphne Larsen (Frank); and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in Pine Crest Cemetery on Saturday, November 19th at 1:30 p.m.
