Donald Ted Francia

Donald Ted Francia, age 83, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018. Don was born November 26, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Emily Di Christopher Francia and Pietro Antonio Francia. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Don was a veteran of the United States Army. He owned Gingiss Formal Wear, in Mobile, for over 20 years; now known as Francia’s Formal Affair. Don was a long time member of a Mystic Society in Mobile.

Don is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judith Ann Francia; children, Donna (Randy) Cumberland, Jimmy (Linda) Francia, Dean Francia (Ty Lovette), Joey Francia and David (Jessica) Francia; sisters, Camille Connolly and Florene Francia; grandchildren, Shaun Cumberland, Lisa (Joey) Bailey, Drew (Heather) Cumberland, Dominick (Jennifer) Francia, Angela Francia, Sofia Francia, Joey Francia and Brady Francia; and great-grandchildren, Laiden, Collins, Colston, Locklin, Beckham and Briggs Bailey.

A memorial for Don will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606.
