He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carlene Smith Russ; son Robert A. Russ of Baltimore, MD. daughter Shari L. Russ; granddaughter Kristin (Chris) a. Thompson, his great grandson Tenant L. Thompson all of Mobile. One brother Bobby Russ of Orange, CA.; sister Altha Breininger of Largo, FL. and many other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway.
The family will receive friends at 1:00pm until time of funeral services at 2:00pm.
