

She is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years, James Allen Galloway and her two children, Braxton Douglas Galloway of Mobile and Gage Carson Galloway of Mobile. Her mother, Deborah (Debbie) Brannon. Her brother, Jeremy (Jerry) Brannon and his significant other Kimberly. Her nephew, Jakob (Jake) Brannon. Her mother-in-law, Barbara Galloway. Her sisters-in-law, Kathleen (Kathy) Galloway and Candace (Candy) McDonald. Her nephew, Ryan Cauley. Her life-long friends, Ginger Baskin and Leigh Baskin. Her “grand-dog”, Dawson. She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Johnson. Her grandparents, J.L Cantrell and Alma Cantrell. Her uncle, Larry Cantrell. Donna was born in Mobile on July 27th, 1971. She attended Baker High School before studying nursing at the University of Mobile.
She flourished in her career as a Registered Nurse in service to members of her community. She ended her career as a House Supervisor at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. Donna was an avid reader and enjoyed the creative arts (her “little projects”) for her entire life. Her desire to help others existed outside of
the field of nursing as she was motivated to do everything she could to help the members of her family and even the briefest acquaintance. She enjoyed Mardi Gras, going to the beach, murder-mysteries, and playing with her beloved “grand-dog” Dawson. She was dedicated to every member of her family, and always ensured that they had a home-cooked meal.
The memorial service will be held at The Retreat by Saad’s - Mobile, AL on Saturday March 15th, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Her life will be celebrated
there by those she loved and cared for.
