Dora Busch Krause

Dora departed this life and entered eternal peace on April 23, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Krause and a daughter Stephanie Krause.

She leaves to cherish four daughters, Karen Hughey, Cynthia Woodall, Dora (Dodie) Knapp, Candice Krause and one son, Charles (Chick) Krause. Dora will also be missed by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

Dora (Meemaw) was a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL where she stayed active in her church, as well as multiple family functions until her health no longer permitted. Dora retired from the Mobile County School System where she was a well-respected bus driver for many years.

A memorial will be held but no arrangements have been made at this time.

Heaven gained another Angel today.

A matriarch, a backbone, a stronghold for so many. A mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother and a friend. The strongest fighter, no matter the trials or tribulations that were thrown her way. God decided on the most beautiful blue sky day to hold her in his hands, ease her pain and welcome her into a peaceful eternity.

We know you are smiling down on us as you are walking hand in hand with Peepaw. Please watch over us and protect us in our day to day journeys until we see each other again.
