Doris Howard Ching

Mrs. Doris Aleine Howard Ching - a native of Mobile, AL, born June 17, 1954, and a resident of Semmes, AL died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in a local hospital. Mrs. Ching was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Maybell Howard. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Joseph Ching, Jr.; one son, Jason (Amy) Ching; one grandson, Joseph Scott Ching; her siblings, Judy (Jim) Clewis, Linda (Haywood) Joyner, Cathy (Ed) Majure, Juanita (Brian) Williams, and Harold (Lynn) Howard; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until the 1 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, P.O. Box 557, Semmes, AL 36575 or the Knights of Columbus #4888 Charity Fund, 2801 Williedee Drive North, Semmes, AL 36575. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
