
She will be missed by her sister Patty Arcenaux of Vestavia Hills, Al, grandson, Bullitt Jones, grandson and caregiver, Trapper Jones and great granddaughter Piper Jones, all of Mobile.
Dot will be joining in eternal rest, her loving husband, Hop Jones and their two sons Jerry and Nicky Jones. All together again.
Also preceding in death were Dot’s parents, James Wesley Nicholas and Willie Mae Whitfield Nicholas.
Dot retired as a supervisor with USA Women's and Children’s Hospital. All can fondly remember Dot pointing her index finger as she gave instructions to anyone. Dot always had a funny joke to tell.
Dot never met a stranger. She has helped many less fortunate people or a just cause throughout the past years.
Dot will be laid to rest next to her family at Pine Crest Cemetery on Friday, October 29, 2021. Visitation will be from 12-1 and the service by Chaplain Bob Barr at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Pine Crest funeral Home.
Donations may be made to South Brookley United Methodist Church on Dauphin Island Pkwy, the Animal Rescue Foundation on Rangeline Rd or any animal rescue foundation.
