Doris Opal Speer Padgett

March 18, 1932 – March 14, 2014

Doris Opal Speer Padgett, a native of Winder, GA and longtime resident of Moss Point, MS died Friday, March 14, 2014 at the age of 81. She was a loving and devoted mother, wife, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband, Sammy C. Padgett, Sr., of Moss Point, MS; a daughter, Marie Dooley Johnson of Mobile, AL; two sons, Harry Michael Dooley, of Poway, California, and Steven Dooley, of Laramie, Wyoming; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 to 2. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
