Dorothy "Dot" Lee Davidson Biggers, age 92, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Dot was born October 30, 1925, in Mississippi to Sudie Dees Davidson and Julius Elmer Davidson. From her birth to her death, she nourished people around her with love, faith, and great food!
Dot is survived by her two daughters, Dorothy Kay Overstreet and Dona Lynn (John) Cronenberg; three grandsons, John Stewart Whigham, Sr., Richard Deron Overstreet, and Byron Wayne (Mandy) Overstreet; two granddaughters, Lauren Lee (Adam) Self and Whitney Lynn (Kevin) Hunter; great-grandsons, John Stewart Whigham, Jr., Ian Wayne Overstreet, John Greyson Self, Henry Fielder Self, Ephraim Grant Hunter, and Rowan Elijah Hunter; great-granddaughters, Maegan Lynn Overstreet and Amelia Grace Self; and numerous loving relatives and friends.
Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Henderson Biggers; daughter, Barbara Anne Adams; and parents, Julius Elmer Davidson and Sudie Dees Davidson.
A visitation for Dot will occur Monday, March 5, 2018, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606. A funeral service will occur Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 5956 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, Alabama 36619.
