Dorothy "Dottie" Bryan Barrow

Dorothy “Dottie” Bryan Barrow – A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died Monday, June 20, 2011, in a local hospital. Dottie retired from International Paper Company as an Executive Secretary after 30+ years of service. She was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlis C. Barrow. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Barrow Lauderdale; her son, Stephen Carlis (Robbie) Barrow; her brother, Guy W. (Jean) Bryan, Jr.; her sister, Susan Bryan (John) Gibson; four grandchildren, Nicole B. (Robert) Ezell, Lynsey R. Lauderdale, Stephen C. Barrow, II, and Glen N. Barrow; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas-Tyler B. Barrow, Shane T. Ezell, Skylar Barrow, and Neal Barrow; two nephews, Ken Barrow and Johnny Gibson; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
