Dorothy E. Vaughn

Dorothy E. Vaughn – a 93 year-old native of Greenville, TN, and a longtime resident of Mobile passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012. Mrs. Vaughn had been very active in children’s ministries throughout her life and was a current member of Fulton Road Baptist Church. She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her beloved husband of 74 years, Sam B. Vaughn, Sr.; sons, Sam B. Vaughn, Jr. (Vivian) and Don Vaughn; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at 12 noon.
