Dortha May Smith White
March 9, 1931 – February 15, 2022

Mrs. Dortha May White, age 90, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. She is preceded in death by her son, Ricky White, parents, Cyrthul and Myrtle Rosetta Bibler Smith and son-in-law, Larry Lirette.
Mrs. White retired after 35 years with American Red Cross. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Government Street Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, playing guitar and was an avid reader. Her most cherished times where those spent with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. White is survived by her children; Sandy Lirette, Debbie Akridge, David White (Sharon) and Cindy Stephens (Kenny). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin Street. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Serenity Memorial Gardens, Theodore, AL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to the American Red Cross, Government Street Presbyterian Church or the charity of choice.
