

D.W. Coleman – an 81 year-old native of Perdido, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013. Mr. Coleman was the owner/operator of Integrity Building. He was an active member of Solid Rock Church of God and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his parents, Hilary and Jossie Coleman; brother, Daniel Coleman; and two sisters, Lizzie Mae Daughtry and Virginia Cummins. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Lois Bohannon Coleman; their four daughters, Debi (Glenn) Barnhill, Teri Coleman, Candy Coleman, and Pam (Kenny) Kendrick; three sisters, Lillie Belle Barnhill, Edna “Flo” Martin, and Frances Yarber; eight grandchildren: Brandi Harrison, Chad Hernandez, David Dean Kendrick, Tiffani Gant, Joel Barnhill, Megan Reniewicz, Chelsea Harper, and Kyle Reniewicz; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family would like to offer a heartfelt thanks to Mr. Coleman’s church family and friends for all of their prayers and support. Funeral services will be held at Solid Rock Church of God on Thursday, September 19, 2013, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Solid Rock Church of God, 11400 Tanner Williams Rd., Mobile, AL 36608.
