E Lee Douglas

Mr. E. Lee Douglas, age 64. A native of Washington, DC and a resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Thursday, March 8, 2012. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a longtime employee with Benders Shipbuilding & Repair. He was a faithful member of Woodridge Baptist Church, played the rhythm guitar in the orchestra, taught Sunday school, helped with the youth for a short period and also was teaching guitar to the youth. Mr. Douglas loved the Lord. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda “Sherry” Douglas; two children, David Lee (Mindy) Douglas, Michael Allen Douglas; two sisters, Donna (Bill) McGough, Sandi (Ed) Boyles; seven grandchildren and many special friends. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 9:30 AM until 11 AM at Woodridge Baptist Church. Memorial services will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with Dr. Mack Morris officiating. Reception following at church, all are welcomed.
