Earl Sibley Wallace Jr

Mr. Earl Sibley Wallace Jr. A native and lifelong resident of Mobile died on Sunday December 27, 2015 at his residence. He was a graduate of Murphy High School Class of 1952, and a graduate of Auburn University Class of 1957. Mr. Wallace was a Captain in the U.S. Army, worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Teledyne Continental Motors and retired as the Vice President/General Manager of Teledyne Brown. After his retirement from Teledyne Brown he worked as the Facilities Manager at UMS Wright. Mr. Wallace was a member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church and sat on the State of Alabama Board of Directors for Boy Scouts of America. He was preceded in death by his son Earl Sibley Wallace III. Mr. Wallace is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Perry Wallace of Mobile, AL, his daughter Marianne Wallace (Robby) Vance, his daughter in law Peggy Anthony Wallace, four grandchildren Ross (Jill) Vance, Shelby Vance (Alex) Glenn, Alec Wallace, and Blake Wallace, his brother Joseph Wallace, his sister in law Jan Perry, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held from Forest Hill United Methodist Church on Thursday December 31, 2015 at 11AM. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10 until 11AM. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
